Mariheca has been the owner and manager of a large Consulting company since 2005. She consults in the field of organisation development and internal marketing (creating buy-in into vision) for a variety of clients in different industries, working in association with credible consultants and HR related service providers. Mariheca completed a B.Com (Hons: Industrial Psychology and Sociology), HED, M.Com and PhD in Business Management at the North-West University (previously known as the Potchefstroom University). She has delivered papers at both national and international academic and business conferences. Her research is not only published in academic publications, but also in newspaper articles and lifestyle magazines. She has almost 20 years of lecturing, training and facilitation experience and is seen as the leader in her field (internal marketing) due to her ground-breaking work. Through her PhD research Mariheca has developed a Model and subsequently a Survey and Individual Assessment tools. The climate and culture measurement tool focuses on all the internal business elements pertinent to HR and OD (organisation development) strategies. With the survey results she designs and guides implementation of strategies to develop the capacity and culture of the organisation, this includes the individuals, teams and leadership. The individual assessment tool is often used in OD plans such as Mentorship processes and PDP’s (Personal Development Plans).
